You will be working together with the operational support team of FCP (Plant Engineers, EHSS supervisor and Quality assurance team). The plant produces PC/PBT based polymer pellets. Our production process consists of dosing, heating, and mixing several components to produce a polymer that fulfills our customers’ specification.

The responsibility of our department is to run and maintain the production process. This means producing our products in a safe manner, for a competitive price, on time, and within the customer specifications. Cost effective and reliable equipment are keen for us to be successful

Job Purpose & Responsibilities

Currently we are facing issues with the water treatment system for our wash and wastewater. For treating the water streams, we use a Dissolved Air Flotation unit and Rotary Screens. A good functioning of the system is necessary to fulfill legal requirements and avoid extra maintenance cost.


The internship will cover the following tasks:

o    Analysis of the current water streams and composition of the streams.

o    Investigation of the working principle and effectiveness of the currently applied techniques.

o    Study of the available techniques in the industry

o    Recommend changes to improve the water treatment.


Start date internship: 3th of February

Expected duration: 4 months

This assignment is suited for an end year project.


-       Language requirements: Fluent in Dutch and English

-       Most important competencies: Good analytic skills, Basic knowledge of separation and water treatment techniques,
Able to work independently, Communicate on different levels of the organization.
