This site will give you an overview of the African operations we manage and also explain career opportunities we have in these regions.
Virgin Atlantic flies to Lagos in Nigeria, Cape Town and Johannesburg in South Africa and to Nairobi in Kenya. These destinations and their associated careers opportunities are all explained in their own country sections – see and select from the menu on the top left hand side of your screen for more detailed information on each area. Security & Immigration
Security is our number one priority - Virgin Atlantic maintains the highest standards of integrity and security across all its global operations and this very much includes Africa.
You must have the right to live and work in the country of the job you are applying for and you will be asked for proof of this. Additionally – all applicants will be asked for proof of all relevant identity documents, ID cards, passports, certificates and qualifications/certificates. Full and detailed security vetting, screening and referencing processes are also applied to all candidates – failure to comply or deliver against these requirements will result in candidates’ applications being terminated.
Culture

Training
Consistently delivering the best service isn't easy and it takes real dedication from you - and from us.
All new members of staff go to the UK to complete the Company induction course at our state-of-the-art training centre, THE BASE in Crawley, UK.
We deliver a mix of in-house and e-learning based training. We also ensure that we source local training needs as required to enhance the careers and lives of our people. We strive to make Virgin truly a great place to work.
Right from your first day you can expect a real focus on your development. We take the potential you have shown at recruitment and get you up to speed and continuously develop you through a fantastic induction and superb operational and management training.
