Salary: £15,269 per annum plus excellent benefits

Hours: 15 hours per week including a mixture of days, evenings and weekends

Location: Meadowhall - Standalone Store

In a nutshell

This role is "The Face of Virgin Holidays" for all our visiting customers. It is responsible for ensuring a consistently exceptional experience for each and every customer that visits our stores. Working as part of our standalone store team, the retail concierge will engage with our customers to understand their needs quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining excellent customer experience. This role will drive Net Promotor Score (NPS) and impact sales through delivery of the service proposition.


Day to day

  • Meet and greet all customers upon arrival and identifying needs within initial interaction.
  • Managing the end to end customer experience
  • Match individual customer needs to the relevant in store consultant
  • Manage customer booking process
  • Ensure customers are offered access to in store service proposition whilst waiting for an appointment or a consultant has become available
  • Distribute Customer Questionnaires and gather results
  • Work with Store Manager to ensure NPS and sales targets are met
  • Maximise margin of store through add on sales
  • Deal with customer service queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Highlight any service issues which impact the customer experience to the Store Manager, making recommendations for how these can be resolved


About you

To be a success in this role we are looking for a candidate who shows a genuine enthusiasm and passion for providing a high standard of customer service at all times. We are looking for someone with a flexible attitude to their work, who is passionate in meeting customer demands with a "can do" attitude. You will need to have a genuine interest in our customers, and will always take personal responsibility whilst they wait to be seen by our Personal Holiday Advisors.

To apply for this role you will ideally have experience of dealing directly with customers, either face to face or over the phone. This role requires an excellent communicator with interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
