Salary:  £15,000 per annum (pro-rata for part time hours) plus commission and excellent benefits

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time and part time positions 37.5 and 15 hours per week on a shift basis including evenings and weekends

In a nutshell

We're Virgin Holidays. And this is no ordinary travel sales role. Join us as a Personal Holiday Advisor, and you will help our customers to once-in-a-lifetime experiences from luxury Caribbean beaches to African Safaris. It isn't just our customers who can experience this - our team get the amazing opportunity to use seven return flights to travel anywhere on the Virgin Atlantic network. The targets you have to meet are ambitious, but for those that succeed, the rewards are impressive.


Day to day

Join us in our Debenhams department store and you wonít just be a sales person. Youíll be an entrepreneur, marketing guru and dream weaver, using your imagination to set the scene for our customersí perfect holiday.

You'll know all of our products like the back of your hand, and youíll suggest ways for our customers to upgrade their holiday to really fit with their preferences. You will also drive new business through helping out with attention grabbing events and social media campaigns.

Above all, youíll surprise and delight our customers at all times Ė making sure they get the real star treatment. If things donít go to plan, you will be pro-active and confident to investigate and resolve every question straight away.


About you

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a target driven sales environment, with an understanding of the long-haul product and the ability to deliver impressive levels of customer service. Above all, you will have the people skills and imaginative flair to sell luxury holidays alongside being committed to achieving targets and overcoming challenges. In return, you'll get to work within a culture that is fun, dynamic and fast paced and be part of a high performing retail sales team whilst sharing in the many benefits of working for the famous Virgin Brand.

Additional information

All successful applicants will need to commit to undertaking our fantastic four week full time training course. This will include travelling to our Head Office in Crawley for 2 weeks where a selection of our training will take place.
