Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced individual with specialist knowledge in Security & Vetting, such as criminal record checks i.e. DBS, Security Industry Authority (SIA) licences and many more.

The role will initially manage a project to drive change and improvement in this area and then become a strategic business partner to manage a team of HR professionals undertaking required checks ensuring adherence to legislative and commercial constraints whilst maintaining a customer centric approach.

As part of the Senior Management Team, you will be actively encouraged to engage with the wider business to ensure that process improvements are delivered, compliance is managed and key KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved.

What are we looking for?

As an influential business partner you will lead, coach and motivate a team as well as provide a strategic business partnering approach to the wider business so previous experience in a similar level position is essential.

The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of and experience working as an adviser in Safeguarding, DBS processes and theRehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 as well as proven experience in designing & implementing policy and process in line with changing legislation. This position will require you to provide a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business whilst ensuring legislative and commercial compliance.
