What is the purpose of this role?

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and tenacious leader for our Resourcing function.

This position is responsible for leading an overall team of 25 Recruiters and directly managing 7 Resourcing Managers, whose teams recruit all permanent posts across the Amey business. You would also be responsible for overseeing and developing the relationship with Hays as Amey’s Managed Service Provider for temporary labour.
If successful you will have the opportunity to own the delivery of our employee value proposition and project plans to improve the delivery of the Resourcing function. One of the key focuses of this role will be the working with the Resourcing Managers to monitor the team’s performance against their KPIs and ensure that the team are meeting the business targets as well as developing ways to continuously improve ways of working.

What are we looking for?

To be successful you will need to have an extensive recruitment background with experience of managing significant budgets and proven large team management experience. Ideally you will also have experience of integrating an Employer brand into the wider resourcing strategy. This position will require you to have an excellent track record in meeting targets and KPIs.
